Terms and Conditions

Vutec only sells to authorized Vutec dealers under this price list. Possession of the price list does not constitute an offer to sell. All prices are EX Works factory, except as noted. Prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice. All orders must be in writing. No verbal orders will be accepted.

Custom Orders

Custom orders require a 50% deposit before production. Custom orders require a written sign-off prior to commencement of production. Custom orders are not refundable or returnable.

Payment Options

Credit Terms: NET 30 days with approved credit.

• A financial service charge will be added to all past due invoices at the rate of 2% per month. Credit Cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER

• Credit card purchases for STANDARD orders will not be charged until the order is shipped.

• Credit Card purchases for CUSTOM orders will be charged 50% to start production and balance plus freight when shipped.

Return Policy

No product can be returned without Vutec’s prior approval and return authorization (RA) issued.

Returns are subject to a restocking charge and must be shipped freight prepaid, in accordance with Vutec’s instructions. Custom orders are not refundable or returnable.

Freight Damage (IMPORTANT)

The Customer/Dealer accepts responsibility for inspecting all shipping boxes, skids or crates upon arrival. Any signs of damage must be noted on the freight bill at the time of receiving.

Obvious Freight Damage: If you receive a shipment that has evidence of rough handling, this condition must be noted on all copies of the freight bill when you sign for the shipment. Should the contents of the boxes, skids or crates be damaged, notify the shipping company and request an inspection of the damaged materials. Send the inspection report, a copy of the freight bill with damage noted and your explanation of the damage to Vutec. Advise Vutec if you want replacement of the entire shipment or if damaged parts can be repaired. If the damage is due to shipping and is extensive, refuse delivery and notify Vutec of your action, including the name of the carrier company.

If you accept a shipment with obvious freight damage and report it to us after the fact, we will supply a replacement at the originally quoted price, and provide partial credit upon the return of the original, based on its salvageable value.

Concealed Freight Damage: When there is no evidence of any external damage to the shipment and damage to the contents is detected when you unpack the merchandise, you must notify the carrier company within twenty four (24) hours of receipt and request an inspection.

It is the receiving party’s responsibility to report any damages. Preserve all packing materials until inspection is made. Send inspection report, transportation receipt and your explanation of damage to Vutec. Advise Vutec if a replacement is necessary. Due to a ruling by the freight bill at the time of delivery, the carriers believe damage could have resulted in handling after delivery.

Carriers only allow 3 days for reporting damage claims.

Limited Warranty

LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY ON VUTEC ARTSCREEN PRODUCTS VUTEC CORPORATION (Vutec) warrants its ArtScreen products to the original purchaser only, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser provided they are properly operated and maintained according to Vutec instructions and are not damaged due to improper handling, treatment or damaged due to not following the installation instructions after shipment from the factory.

This warranty does not apply to equipment showing evidence of misuse, abuse or accidental damage, or which has been tampered with or repaired by person other than an authorized Vutec personnel.

Vutec’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or to replace (at Vutec’s discretion) the defective part of the merchandise. This warranty expressly does not cover any costs of removal, installation, framing or other costs incident to replacing the ArtScreen or returning it to Vutec. Returns for service should be made to your Vutec dealer.

If it is necessary for the dealer to return the product or part to Vutec, transportation expenses to and from Vutec are payable by the purchaser and Vutec is not responsible for damage in shipment. To protect yourself against damage or loss in transit, insure the product and prepay all transportation expenses.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties as to fitness for use and merchantability. Any implied warranties of fitness for use, or merchantability, that may be mandated by statute or rule of law are limited to the one (1) year warranty period for ArtScreen products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state-to-state. In no event will Vutec be liable for sums in excess of the purchase price of the product. No liability is assumed by Vutec for expenses or damages resulting from interruption in operation of equipment, or for incidental, direct or consequential damage of any nature.

IMPORTANT: This warranty shall not be valid and Vutec shall not be bound by this warranty if the product is not operated and maintained in accordance with Vutec’s instructions Specifications are subject to change without notice.
